The first 24 community nurse and allied health professionals to undertake the new year-long ‘Nurse First’ programme have started their initial three day workshop. The programme, developed and delivered jointly between The Queen’s Nursing Institute and Buckinghamshire New University, mirrors the very successful ‘Teach First’ programme which produces top leaders in schools. 4th August 2012 - Nurses’ development scheme seeks 25 to go first

A groundbreaking educational initiative for nurses has just been launched to develop leadership and innovation in community nursing. Nurse First is a new initiative created by the Queen's Nursing Institute, Buckinghamshire New University and healthcare company Johnson & Johnson. Johnson & Johnson also sponsors Nurse First.
